Watercolour Workshop

An exciting reward for our young artists

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a delightful watercolour workshop for the winners of our Songs of the Season colouring competition. It was a heartwarming experience filled with creativity and joy as eight talented children came together to explore their artistic abilities.

Crafting unique bookmarks and winter characters

During the workshop, the young artists learned various watercolour techniques, which they applied to create beautiful bookmarks. They also had the chance to let their imaginations run wild by painting their very own winter bird. It was inspiring to see how each child interpreted the themes in their own way, resulting in an array of colourful masterpieces!

A day of fun with Andrea Selley

The workshop was run by our committee member and local artist, Andrea Selley, who made the experience both educational and enjoyable. Her guidance helped the children gain confidence in their artistic skills while encouraging a sense of community among the participants. Everyone left with big smiles and a newfound passion for watercolour painting.

Overall, the watercolour workshop was a fantastic success, and we are thrilled to have provided this opportunity to our talented winners. We look forward to more creative events like this, bringing art and joy to our community!
